...Sorry for delay in responding to comments. Life. <br />No you do NOT have to thaw out meal before putting into the pressure cooker! Thats the best part about this!<br />I usually add about a 1/4-1/2 cup water as I will run the bag under the faucet to get the rest of the marinade out and dump in the cooker. If there isnt enough liquid at the bottom of the cooker it wont work.
